Granada is a city in southern Spain Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
It’s known for grand examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation, especially the Alhambra. This sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.

We took the wrong exit or entrance, we walk uphill for at least 1 1/2 hr, instead of taking the easier route by bus the other way. It was a beautiful walk.OUF!!
One suggestion: buy your tickets online to see the inside of Alhambra, otherwise you cannot go inside and visit. We were really disappointed that we could’not go inside, but we walk all around and enjoy the outside, it is huge.
I like to visit all the little streets with their shops, I was disappointed because they are all the same style MAROCAIN …..
