This year, they got an XTREME BUGS…WOW. You are being surrounded by giant insects including a six-meter-long Japanese hornet and a four-meter-high praying mantis, for an up-close look at the physical characteristics of bugs and the science behind the behaviors of these (usually) tiny creatures.
The Polar Bear: The Underwater viewing tunnels, known as Sea Ice Passage, give visitors the rare opportunity to view these amazing creatures swimming from below the surface of the water. Usually, we see the bear swimming but not on this trip but I saw a seal and the guy washing the inside of the tank.
I was very early 9am, so at that time you can see all the animals who are hiding when it gets too hot, lucky me.
